50 cl bottle from Doorstep Brew. BB 20/12/16, sampled on January 14, 2013.Clear copper color, bi off-white to yellow head. Sweet, sugary, alcohol scent, also apricots and dried fruits, almost got a sweet malty barley wine feeling to the nose. Alcohol, fruity, sweet, slight bit metallic taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Banana, metallic and alcohol aftertaste. Warming alcohol.

Fra fat på Cardinal: aroma av bringebær og stikkelsbær. I smaken også fiken. Frisk, ikke for søt og passe bitret. Kjenner alkoholsmaken, uten å være påtrengende. En litt annerledes tripel.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy deep orange to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Nice malty and spicy aroma, notes of bakery, dried figs, caramel and brown kandij sugar syrup. The flavour is also malty and relatively sweet (even for a triple), with plenty of caramel and kandij sugar, dark dried fruits and mild spicy notes. Smooth and pleasant to drink

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, fruits, some wood, yeast and sweet malts. Flavour is rather similar in a nice balance. Rather pleasant tripel.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of malt, fruit, caramel, and spices - especially cloves. The flavor is quite sweet with strong notes of fruit, later turning somewhat dusty and stale, combined with dusty notes of hops, and some spices, leading to a dry finish where alcohol and over ripe fruit fight for the final word.
