Poured from a can into a glass while in Thailand. Aroma has a light, sweet graininess with faint grassy hop character. Light sulfur note and no diacetyl. Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head that quickly recedes to the Shea where it lingers. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor has a light, sweet graininess with faint grassy and floral hops. Light sulfur note and low bitterness. A slight twang in the finish, which I think is from the hops. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright light beer. In some ways it is better than regular San Miguel as the flavor isn't so watery, but there is more sulfur in the light version and the hops are fainter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours pale straw with negligible white head. Skunky aroma with subtle touches of hops. Very mild flavour, mostly fo rice, water, grain and some sweetener. Very watery. Nothing to write home about, although somehow I expected something far worse.

Can, 5%. Sweetish aroma, not so much malty as strangely farty and sugary. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is surprisingly sweet for a light beer. Not grainy or sour, so better than expected.

Pours clear, bubbly, gold with a tall, chunky white head. Aroma is grain, malt. Taste is malty, grainy, cardboard, water. Very carbonated. Drinkable for what it is...just donβt expect much.....fairly typical of style and origin.

33cl bottle in Phnom Penh. Clear yellow with a white head. Very light aroma with just a hint of malt. Almost flavourless. Tasted almost like mineral water, but went donβt easy in the heat. Not much of a beer, but still drinkable. (2012-04-30)

330 ml can, brewed under licence by PT Delta, Indonesia. ABV is 4.9%. Clear pale yellow colour, low white head. Sweetish "industrial" aroma, notes of artificial candy. Thin and fizzy mouthfeel. Nearly void of flavour, quite dry, only a touch of sweetness in the background. One to forget.
