Great? No. It’s a light lager in a clear bottle. But honestly, it’s quite refreshing on a warm Philippine evening. Reminded me a bit of Corona, though better. Wouldn’t touch this stuff outside the country given the clear bottle an all.

Aroma of grass and corn. Brassy gold color with an enduring white head. A bit fizzy. Thin to medium bodied. Sort of a corn flavor. The finish is kind of herbally bitter. Probably as good as bud light.

Weak, goldenrod diluted in water, with a fizzy head that quickly runs to the edge. Extremely filtered clarity, no lacing, bubbles settle out of the liquid rather quickly.
Cheap pencil/crayon nose, compound flaws exhibited, with a clear lack of proper or even bare minimum lagering times. Husky, slightly sharp, rice-like finish. Extremely stale and pasteurized. No hops, no alcohol.
The flavor has a slight rancidity to it, and almost a dry, bland, papery flavor as well, with some green apple, metallic notes and spoiled cider notes on the finish. Of course, all of this is diluted down to being minimally noticeable, but it’s certainly still there. The usual case where the "lite" version of the regular beer displays fewer problems, generally due to less ingredients being used and a much higher water/everything-else-ratio, does not seem to be the case here, as this is not your typical neutral, carbonic, lightly sweet seltzer water sort of light beer. Or if this is still the case, then San Mig regular must be god-awful. Fizzy mouthfeel, watery, loose, stale, pasteurized, filtered, no hop notes, no alcohol.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, almost no head. Extremely skunked hops in aroma, almost like living in a barnyard. Flavour is a bit skunked and unclean malts. Stay away. Not sure if I should say a thank you to Tbone_ who brought this beer from Singapore and shared it with me...

Golden color, not much head. Skunky hoppy head. Flavor is less exciting: carbonated, malty and more or less flavorless. As "good" as light beers usually.

Moderately dark straw colour. Light aroma with hints of grains and malts. Very light palate. Empty. It tastes like its been gutted. Like they brewed a beer and then took a bunch of stuff out. Which if you’re going to reduce calories without reducing alcohol, I suppose you have to do.

Bottled. Pale yellow. Unclean estery viola aroma. Thin and emtpy as vacuum, leaving a metallic finish behind.

Very pale gold. Thick bubbles to disparate head. Herbal, grassy. Probably a bit "skunked". Faugh! Water with an extract of overyear straw. Seen what I've tasted from Phillippine 'cuisine', I would have expected as much taste as possible, to wash down those infernal cookings. But it's rather the opposite. Unbelievable thin texture, like mineral water with added taste. This is truly horrible.
