Orange What AKA Mandarina is a bright golden ale brewed with fresh and dry orange peel. It has been brewed using the fruity and citrussy hop Mandarina Bavaria to give a distinct tangerina flavour, a floral aroma and a smooth subtle bitterness with a soft sweetish finish. Mandarina is one of our best selling beers, enjoyed by both men and women alike.

Cask at the triangle tavern Lowestoft. Pale gold coloured pour with a thin scummy head. Aroma is rough grain husks, little sweet, vanilla, faint orange zest. Flavour is composed of rough cereal, flabby grains, vanilla sweet, tangy citrus. Palate is flabby grainy, moderate to low carbonation. Meh.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden orange, thin white head. Aromas of creamy orange desserts, light vanilla custard. Taste let’s it down a bit I’m afraid, not really very much going on. Light bitter, light sweet. Thin finish.

Cask at The Barton Arms; clear amber pour with soapy white head, malt aroma, a smidgen of orange in the taste not much wheat beer coming through in the look or taste, adequate English bitter.

Excellent nose, but neither the fruits of the wheat character transfer well into the taste.
