Imperial Brown Ale
This bold, brown ale gets its body from a team of malts including caramel malt for sweetness, flaked barley for dense foam, a bit of chocolate malt for its deep color, and aromatic and Munich malts to add even more depth. German and Perle hops add a touch of bitterness to balance the malty sweetness. The addition of rich Sumatra coffee takes this perfectly balanced brown ale to a decadent level.

Dark brown color, creamy beige head. The aroma Is earthy, peppers, light coffee, cardboard. Lean body, moderate residual sweetness, dark caramel flavor, mild earthy character with traces of liquorice and coffee.

Draft. Deep chocolate brown with a tan head. Nutty, complex aroma, with coffee and chocolate . The flavor is just sweet enough to make this a sipper, yet not so much that it tires you quickly. Very tasty.

bruin met lichte fijne kaki kraag. aroma van redelijke filter koffie, koffie bonen, melkchocolade, en lactose. Smaken zijn matig tot redelijk zoet, zacht, glad, redelijke body, zoete filterkoffie, mij iets te zoet allemaal

Bottle from Taniguchi via Rakuten. A potent brown ale brewed with Sumatran Mountain coffee that is a deep semi-opaque brown with a beige head. The aroma is a great coffee flavor that features some mild fruity berry notes but it als had a surprisingly milky sweet cream aroma. Is there lactose in this? The taste is great, supremely drinkable and it evokes a berry accented sweet Indonesian coffee with milk and sugar. At 9% it’s surprising how fast I polished off this bottle. Tap at Pickering Creek.....amazing aroma , sweet malt and aromatic coffee. Taste is just as rich as the aroma. Add a little cream and this is my morning coffee! Founders has a way with beans 😊 Love it!

Bottle: Instant aroma of rich, quality coffee and light cream. Very nice roast and lightly sweet. Pours a deep chestnut brown with a monsterours creamy tan head… lasting bits of lacing. If only the taste would have been on par with the aroma, but it’s still real good. The rich coffee is present, nice medium roast and lightly earthy. A light bitter earthy bit in the end that detracts a little. Still quite good overall.
