Barrel Aged Apple Sour. We love complex and sour beers. For this one, we reached out to our friends at MacIvors and put our heads together. We made a Golden blond and blended it with wild fermentation Irish Cider from MacIvors. A friendly cider acidity kick followed by a dry and subtle maltiness which ends with a refreshing thirst quenching fruitiness.

Graff ... det var nytt, men ikke noe noe med Graff bryggeri. Blanding av øl og sider, og jeg klarer ikke å bestemme meg for om det er det beste av begge verdener eller det verste.

375ml bottle from Whole Foods, Kensington. Has a misty light appearance, small white head. Lightly tangy with gentle sour apple laces. No detectable chardonnay influence and in a blind taste this could be a sour dry cider. Expected a little more complexity and depth of flavour but its an interesting experiment.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 10/05/19. Pale yellow with a decent off white head. Nose is lemon rind, funky, tangy apples, damp hay. Taste comprises apple core, light funk, farmyard twang, lemon curd, hay bale, wood must, damp cloth. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering bite. Solid sour … I really enjoyed this number … often not the case when apples are involved!
