The Púca was a mystical force, manifesting itself in multiple forms. It was believed that beer was created magically, a sort of soup possessed by the spirits; but wild yeast was of course the magic at play. For this cloudy, crisp, tart and fruity beer style, we have fostered our own wild yeast. It brings the complexity, the surprise, and it certainly bring the magic.
Description:
A beautiful pink mixed fermentation beer, brewed with our house cultivated wild yeasts.
Using our Púca Lemon as the base beer, we then added loads of ginger to the oil followed by additions of hibiscus, rose hips, strawberries, raspberries and elderberries.
Tasting Notes:
A tart and refreshing wheat beer brewed with oats, lemon peel, ginger and coriander. The flavour and aroma are dominated by fresh citrus and hibiscus notes. Beautifully balanced acidity, with an ultra refreshing finish.
Ingredients:
Water, barley, wheat, oats, lemon, coriander, hibiscus, ginger, rosehips & berries.

Can from Beer52. Sweet berry aroma. Cloudy red tinged pink. Creamy white head fades far too quickly. Teeth clenching sourness - the berries are up front, the ginger comes through in the finish. Not sure I've had hibiscus before so will not comment on that one! Light to medium bodied. Slick. The fizzy carbonation really compliments the sourness. Astringent finish. Could have done with this easier today when I was laying on the grass in Loseley Park's garden. Zing. Refreshed.

Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Pink, hazy with no head. Lots of raspberry vinaigrette in the aroma with a big fruity funk. Taste sour with a massive berry flavour. Lovely tart finish. Bit of carbonation in the body. Really enjoyable sour. Got it just right.

Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - bright red pink. Nice fluffy and slightly pink head. Nose - cranberry and redcurrant. Light creamy note. Taste - sweet red berry this time. More like raspberry. Palate - light, creamy and tart while still being quite sweet. Overall - it's a pleasant beer, but I expected it to be more sour.

Keg at MK VHX, 28/02/18. Pinkish red with a crimson cap. Nose is big on tangy red berries, lemon drizzle, grass, straw, funk. Taste comprises sweeter notes, cherryade, tarte red berry pips, lemon drizzle, hay bale, herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic ripple. Decent for the ABV.
