Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. Copper gold, lasting off white head. Obvious toffee malt. Bit empty. It’s ok, but just no real depth. Malt/hops, but no character. Too sweet.

Caramel aroma. Sweet, and has a strange fish flavor. A little salt, and no hops. Cloyingly sweet. It needs some hops for balance.

Bottled, thanks Fukito! Clear amber, brief head. Vinous and toffeeish. Sweet and full bodied with lots of caramel. Rounded with a velvetty warming sensation. Notes of pears. Low-medium bitterness. Not a subtle beer, and too sweet but with so much good going for it that these drawbacks are quickly forgotten.

Lightly hazed amber ale with a thin white head. Light aroma of butterscotch, and signs of oxidation, cardboardy notes. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt, almost going towards the doppebock in style, with candy sugar and light nutty notes. Quite a nice beer. Bottle at Patio Cervecero, 7$AR.
