Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours rich black with a huge, lasting brown foam head. The nose gives away big chocolate notes, light alcohol, mild acidic coffee. Medium sweet flavor with dry chocolate and a bit of bitter, charred wood. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming on the finish with milk chocolate, bittersweet baking cocoa, some dark berries and hard roasted malts. Tasty, bold.
