Keg at the brewery tap room - London. Pours hazy orange-gold with a creamy cap. Danks citrus and rich coffee in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with good, robust coffee character, some bread, pepper, earth and ripe orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming and resinous to finish with further sticky, dank citrus notes, lightly earthy coffee, mellow bitterness. A very nice coffee IPA. Strikes a good balance. As an aside, I’m really enjoying the limited-release beers Redchurch has been putting out. It’s good to see they’ve found a creative outlet through which they can experiment beyond their core range of beers.
