Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 12/1/2015. Pours hazy bright golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, citrus hops, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana, wheat, cracker, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, citrus hops, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice White IPA style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, citrus hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place. Aroma is resinous, spruce and citrusy hops with fruity esters. Appearance is cloudy yellow with less than 1 finger white head with fair retention but nice lacing. Taste is mildly sweet fruity ester with moderate bitterness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and long mildly bitter finish. As advertised, a cross between an IPA and a wit beer. Very good at what it does. Slightly more bitter than I prefer.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy, lumpy, straw colour. Thin, dense, lasting, sticky, bright white head. Creamy, vanilla sweet, banana aroma. Spicy, bready yeast. The hops come through at the end. Pretty juicy. Taste is spicy, dry, and zesty bitter. Palate is soft, and a bit watery. A bit soapy, too. Finishes with more of the spicy dry bitterness.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours cloudy yellow with a light, foamy white head. Refreshing tangy lemon accents, sugary wheat, light bitter hay. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with more lemon, some grapefruit pith, hints of sweet wheat. Solid.
