(Approximately 1.5 year old one - draught at Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere) Poured golden and hazy with small, sparse and white head. Aroma was fruity, cirtic and bit sweet. Palate was medium bodied and bit dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were sourness, fruitiness, grapefruit, sweetness, wort and mild bitterness. Aftertaste containes sourness, fruitiness and apples. Nice to try a news lambic before it’s old enough and blended.

4 year old from a plastic barrel at The Rake. Dark gold, some ok lambic aroma. Bit of puke on this in the mouth. Not great. The puke makes it very difficult to drink.

Big thanks to magicdave6 for that beer. Starts mild, a bit salty, also woody-grasy. Modest sourish, but becomes more and more intense. Finish a bit prickly. Interesting!

Very muddy dun colour. Megastank nose of rotting fruit, pear and light barrel. Thin and cidery with a light toastiness. As it goes with unblended lambic, you don’t always win.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm 28 Apr) Pale orange/amber colour, clear. No head, completely still. Nose is acidic with hints of citrus and old socks. Taste is acidic, a bit harsh, notes of sewage and sulphur. Some old socks in the taste as well. Rather short finish, tends to die too quickly. Refreshing and fair enough. (5/3/6/3/13=3.0) Rerate: (Draught at Kulminator, Antwerpen 20 Oct 2022. Blend 1 + 3 years) Hazy golden colour amber with brief, bubbly head. Fruity, sourish nose with apples, apricots, horse stable, barnyard and hay. Fruity, tart taste with notes of apricots, apples, grapefruit, barnyard and a soft and mild acidity in the finish. Medium body, dry. Really tasty and harmonious with the most tart edges polished off to great balance. Very nice.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Reddish golden, near clear. Aroma of barnyard and cobwebs. Rounded with only light lactic acidity. Not as hardcore as for instance Cantillon, but it’s really complex and fresh with notes of grass and it’s surprisingly hoppy. This is a lambic that really grew on me the further down the glass I got.
