Nose is juicy tropical fruit esters, papaya, mandarin, guava, pineapple.
Taste comprises orange pith, guava, grapefruit, ripe melon, papaya, soft malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Tidy well balanced and easy drinking DIPA.

Can. A medium haze on this orange gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Soft pale malts, mildly dry, a decent creamy sweetness. Motueka hops here, exhibiting as mildly bright lime, a little more lime peel and some hop spice nibble. Also a touch of pomelo tinted soft tangerine here. Airy finish. Liked this, it was also interesting for what else it put under the microscope for Motueka. Some juicy Motueka in the semi dry finish, brings a soft but juicy aspect to the underlying characteristics of this great hop, an almost honeyish linmey lychee thing going on. Light crisp finish brings some hop spice bite. Very interesting and rather drinkable.

aroma of pine and grapefruit - herbal hoppy, bit citrus fruity notes too. Clean and very nice aroma.
Flavor is various kinds of bitter hoppy with a fine tone of exotic fruity sweetness below. very hoppy. quite quenching but also close to bittersweet and cloying. water treatment and mouthfeel manages somehow to be both crisp and soft at the same time.
Quite hoppy bitter for a hazy , the bitterness is really good, only it plays less than perfect with the sweet exotic fruity notes. Other than that,it's a very badass double IPA. alc. well hidden. Very quenchable.
