2024 edition at 11.9% and with a silver wax cap. A complete dark, blackish colour with no highlights. A mocha-coloured head with decent retention for the style, and minimal lace. Big chocolate nose with some Bourbon notes, hints of coffee, vanilla and alcohol. The mouthfeel is thicker, oily with some good bitter cacao, drying lightly in the finish. Again, a nice blend of the Bourbon notes in the flavours, giving a raison touch, with the cacao, mild coffee and a tad alcohol-vanilla. A nice, smooth-oily, slightly warming Imperial Stout with cacao, Bourbon notes, mild coffee and light vanilla.
