From a 330ml bottle on 17/11/2010. Has a distinct floral, bready, fruity (particularly passionfruit) aroma. Has an unbelievable amount of flavour for a pilsener, dominated by citrus fruits, more passionfruit, honey and spices. Finishes with a good dash of bitterness. Exceptionally good.

Bottle, 500ml. Pale gold, large tight white head, fair bit of carbonation. The head lasts very well. Smells grassy and spicy. Some wood chips and blackcurrants too. Flavour is a little sour to go with supporting light, biscuity malts and fruits (berries, apricots). Mouth-puckering hop bitterness at the end. Not an imitation of a Czech or German Pilsener. I was going to say it’s a bit austere and I wouldn’t want a second now had I bought one, but it’s become quite a bit more approachable as it warms a little in the glass. [moved rate of non-organic version, returned score to what it was]

Crystal clear pale amber pour with a small head that leaves nice lacing.Aroma is very floral and grassy with some sweet peach and pale malts in the background. Some faint diacetyl later on.Flavours are mostly green floral hops, sweet biscuity malts and and assertive hoppy bitterness.Carbonation is slightly too high but otherwise mouthfeel is fine.An excellent example of the style.

50cl bottle @ Svinetsverden, Odense. Pours pale yellow with a small egg white head & lacings. Nose is of hops - fresh & citrussy. Taste is crispy & again hoppy, grassy with a fine bready maltyness. Crisp, elegant & quaffable! Pleasant bitter end! Great pils:-)

100ml from bottle at EBF 08. Light hazy, late straw body – fading, white foam. Citric aroma. Taste of sweet passion fruits, supplemented by discreet bitter endnotes. Clean tasting, refreshing and easy to drink. More than an average pilsner (12.09.2008).

Cloudy yellow with a big white head, long lasting thanks to constant bubbles. Aroma is filled with hops, floral, grassy, a little pine, and an assortment of tropical fruits. The flavour is sweetish and fruity with more than enough bitterness to balance. It’s close to being a hop bomb, which unfortunately is a little more than continental style hops can carry in my opinion.

Medium white lasting head. Yellow body. Fruity citric orangey grassy hoppy aroma with mealy notes. Dry-sweet orangey mealy taste with floral hoppy notes. Light body, refreshing. Dry floral hoppy orangey aftertaste. This is a pilsener? Seems more like a pale ale to me. A good one, though. (0.1l taster from bottle, EBF ’08.)
