Santa C has come to town, ready to occupy various Christmas tables during the festive season. Santa C is a true Christmas beer, a perfect accompaniment to many Christmas foods. It is a beautiful golden, medium-strength, pleasant, spicy Christmas brew. It has a lovely sweet aroma of orange, vanilla and red berries as a result of the First Gold aroma hops we use. The taste is rich and round with sweet, toffee notes from the caramelised malts we use. There are also clear notes of vanilla, orange and red berries – which also feature in the aroma.

appears amber with a reasonably large offwhite head that grows smaller very fast. dissapointing aroma that resembles me of how tuborg guld tastes. sweet notes, bitterness. flavor is quite sweet, faint orange, very faint spices, syrupy honey, quite tasty. not very much cristmas, quite underplayed too. if you really like belgian style and also if it is a bit low on the spices, you will like this one. tastes like if it had more alc than about 6.

50 cL bottle. Pours very mild hazy orange with a dense light orangewhite head. Slight spiced caramel malt aroma, slight dusty. Flavour is breadish and with a distinct orange note lingering inbetween the solid and complex malt flavours. Finish is breadish malty and again some orange peel in the far finish.

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Fruity spicy herbal aroma with coriander and cardamom notes. Dry-sweet herbal blueberry and cardamom taste with papery notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry-bitter blueberry and cardamom aftertaste is a bit harsh, with herbal mealy papery coriander notes. It’s not really very harmonic, and a bit too harshly bitter. Ah well. (0.5l bottle, gift from family. This rating replaces an old 3.7 rating from 2007.)
