Santa C has come to town, ready to occupy various Christmas tables during the festive season. Santa C is a true Christmas beer, a perfect accompaniment to many Christmas foods. It is a beautiful golden, medium-strength, pleasant, spicy Christmas brew. It has a lovely sweet aroma of orange, vanilla and red berries as a result of the First Gold aroma hops we use. The taste is rich and round with sweet, toffee notes from the caramelised malts we use. There are also clear notes of vanilla, orange and red berries – which also feature in the aroma.

Shared bottle at my parents’ place on the first day of X-mas 2023. Coudy, pale amber. White head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet malt, caramel, whole-meaø bread, bananas and noble hops. Good drinkability.

0,5 l bottle from Netto, Blåvand. Cloudy golden amber with a nearly two finger steady foamy head. Caramel, sweet malt and strawberries on the nose. Taste starts with sweet caramel, little bit fruity. Increasing dry bitterness. Little bit rough, little bit thin, metallic. Okay.

Bottle. Melonoidin nose, light roast and plums. Medium light body, could be fuller given the occasion. Fermented fruity finish.

Hazy amber, small and creamy offwhite head. Caramely, malty aroma. Juicy mouthfeel, more caramel but rather light, a little watery. Don’t really detect any of the spices advertised on the label.

Bottle. Pours clear full amber with airy but stable cream white head. Clear aroma of caramel, malt, fruit and butter. Sweet falvour of caramel malt, fuit, and biscuits, with mild hoppy notes and buttery overtones. Dryish finish. Medium to high carbonation. OK but little too buttery for my taste.

God, balansert, men ikke veldig ekstremt belgiske karakter.
