Med sin flotte rødbrune farve og skønne duft af karamel.
Fyldig i smagen med afstemte toner af maltens sødme, nelliker og lakrids og en antydning af humlens bitterhed.

clear red brown, small light brown head. Nutty aroma, slightly dark caramelly, slightly spicy. quite mild. flavor is very malty, as well as having a roasted grainy to roasted malty note. finer syrupy and spicy herbal bitter note ( the spicy herbal bitterness reminds me of the bitterness in english bitter). Quite flavorfull beer, quite bitter but not us style hoppy bitter.

Bottle at EsBF09. Good roasted aroma, mild but nice. Clear dark red brown colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is also nicely roasted, with a good malt base. It is slightly citric, I am sure unintended. A shame with the citric note.
