3 years over BBE, but I'll give it a try... The beer starts malty and slightly sweet. A bit grainy. The mainpart is highly drinkable, a bit malty-grainy, subtle sweetness. Nearly no hops. The aftertaste is medium, a bit neutral, ok. --> typical Lager. --> 7/13/7/7

Bottle 0.33l from local market. Originally rated too many times between 2000-2003. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain and malts. Easy to drink so what else could young student drink those days?

22/VII/2012 - 33cl bottle @ Erwin's place - BB: 10/VII/12 - (2012-736) Thanks to Brambo for the bottle!

Clear blond beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: very metallic, chloride, bit sugary, grains. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: citric, but more from the carbonisation than from anything else, pretty bitter, metallic, some banana, grains. Aftertaste: little bitter, metallic, bit grassy. Meh.

A better part of finnish "bulkkiolut" genre. Suits fine after sauna or when you are thirsty, but nothing special or interesting.

Sold in the UK as ’Premium lager’ no mention of 111, but obviously the same beer at 4.5%. Green 33cl bottle, best before 26th Jun 09, drank 17th Mar 09. Poured into a Veltins Pilsner stemmed tulip glass twice. Usual golden lager/pilsner look, bright, clear and clean. Good sized white head on top at first, turning into a collar and wisp just as quick as the cheaper versions brewed all over the world. Odourless, gets my standard 3 for a non-smelling lager/pilsner. Watery and weak in taste and bodyfeel, not overly impressed, a lager from Laos was comsummed before this beer and it was miles better in every aspect. This is a ’burp’ lagerbeer, just full of wind and no substance. A dry metallic nasty flavour begins to appear towards the end of the mouthfeel and as the beer warmed up at the end of the tasting, it started to have a damp cardboard sort of tang, not nice. Very dissapointed, my first Finnish beer and it is a dud!

0.5l can. Beleive this is my first one from our neighbor country. It pours a a clear pale golden body, some small unfiltered particles and it has a small quickly fading white lager head. The aroma is mild sweet, thin and light malty with a hint of watery hops and not much more. It has a nice lager mouthfeel, mid bodied and average carbonated. Tastes just what you'd expect it to taste. Like a lager. God, I'm really horrible in describing and explaining the differences in these lager beers, but really, what is there to say? Thin and light malty, some bitterness but it's utterly dull and boring. 03.03.2012
