Special Beer from a long tradition. A level of alcohol which is not too high, characterised by a distinct aroma obtained through the use of the very best malts.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper brown with thick off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and dried fruit, possibly apricot. Rather unbalanced bitter-sweet taste of malt with fruity notes. Distinct metallic finish. Nothing really to write home about, but drinkable.

66cl bottle, 5.2%, 1.90€. Wonderful red color with a big smooth offwhite head. Quiet nose. Aroma is roasted malts, some caramel and syrup. Taste sweetish, salty with a soft bitter end. Sticky lips, light to medium body, average carbonation. Nice one for an italian industrial product.

Good, dirty-amber head over clear foxy-amber beer. Rusty nose, slightly toasted malts, corn flakes, bit of indifferent UK hops. Sweet-sticky, with a strange, unrefined bitterish syrupflavour as a finish. Sticky, filmy MF, medium bodied. Something to celebrate a very sad Christmas with... Thanks for the effort, Davide!

Bottled (BBE 01/11, from Estate Wine). Reddish amber colout with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, cardboard as well as some slight sweet malts. Flavour is quite much the same with some slight nutmeg mixed in. Already tasted quite strange, so wouldn’t like to know what it is in 3-4 months...

600ml Bottle - Dark amber with a foamy head. Mandarin, caramel and malt feature in the aroma. Nutty and fruity taste with satsuma, caramel and dried fruit. Not bad and rather easy to drink. Whilst it’s not necessarily a bad thing, the aroma reminds me of a Body Shop bubble bath from about 20 years ago!
