Cask at the Prince Of Wales, Twickenham - 30/09/12. Clear dark golden with a thin bubbly white head which retains well. Light malt aroma, a little fruit and a modicum of spice. A light fresh hoppy taste, grain, light fruit notes and a little carmel. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Drinkable bitter.

From cask at Craft. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is light spiced and slight malty. Toasted malty, light hayish, caramelish and dry bitter flavoured. Lasting dry malty and bitter into the finish.

Cask @ Priory Arms, Stockwell, London SW8. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Golden with a small white head. Aroma of biscuit, toffee, grass and pear. Biscuit malty flavour with grassy hops and a firm bitterness.

Half, cask, at The Cross Keys in Covent Garden. Crystal clear, copper-amber body with just a bubbly ring around the rim of the glass. Modest malt-fruity aroma. Mild resinous hops in flavour supported by earthy malts. Bitter hints to the finish. Very average for the style (London, 02.08.2009) (no.2470).

Cask. Pale copper colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, vegetables, some wood and mild yeasty notes. Flavour is wood, earth, caramel malts, mild chocolate and also some slight notes of berries.

Cask, gravity dispense, at Heathrow Beer Festival 2008.Gold with a ring of white head; caramel aroma; malty flavours, smooth, with some nuts and spice; warming finish. (30Nov2008 - 5/4/6/4/13=3.2)

Rerate: Cask at the Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria. ABV 4.3% Amber gold with a thin white head; citrus aroma; sweet grapefruit flavour; then a long dry finish with a gentle spicy bitterness. A refreshing pint. (24Jan2012 - 6/4/7/3/12=3.2)

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 7 Aug 2007) Copper colour with brief off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of dark fruit, orange peel and spicy hops giving it a fresh, clean bitterness. Fruity, malty taste with orange peel, grapefruit and a balanced notes of earthy hops in the finish. Solid malt foundation, fresh hops, medium body. Balance is the word. Quite nice.

Cask (handpump) @ "Inn at Kew Gardens", Surrey, London. Clear amber color with very small white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, brown sugar. Flavor is quit sweet with some bitternes in the finish. Duration is long.
