Daleside Brewery Greengrass Old Rogue Ale pours a medium amber brown colour, with fine condition and clear with a small short lasting head that still manages to generate some thin lace rings almost till the end of the glass. Faint woody hops and mild corn and malt make the aroma. On the palate you have creamy malt dominating the mouth, a short sweetish smooth malt middle and back to a bittersweet finish and aftertaste. Greengrass Old Rogue Ale has a Medium light low carbonated body. A pleasant conditioned brew.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 7 Oct 2025) Amber colour with foamy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, dried fruit, toffee and earthy hops. Malty taste with notes of toffee, dark bread, raisins, black-currant and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and well balanced. Nice one.

Clear golden amber with a creamy white head and a soft fruit malt and biscuit aroma. Creamy and smooth with light fruit malt, some hints of lemon biscuits and a dry bitterish finish.

Clear medium amber colour, mid-size creamy off-white head, mostly diminishing, heavy lacing. Aroma light toasted malts, fruits, caramel. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, bread, light toffee and fruit. Dry sweetbitter finish, malty and fruity notes, lingering earthy touch. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, well-balanced and nice bitter.

500ml bottle into an Abbot Ale pint glass tankard at home on 1st April 2016. Amber/golden body, thin white head that turned into a wisp and collar very swiftly. Light malty aroma and taste with a decent hop bitterness, becomes more sweet as it warms in the glass. Decent, again my sweet tooth gets a winner.
