Måske var vi de første, der bryggede denne sjældne øltype? Normalt brygger man stout udelukkende på bygmalt, men Sort Hvede er brygget på godt 50 % hvede. Den er derfor mere rund, blød, og mindre skarp end en "normal" stout. Sort Hvede er helt sin egen!
Den er brygget på mørke malttyper, heriblandt en røgmalt, der giver øllet en fin røget og lakridsagtig smag. Øllet dufter svagt af kaffe og har lette noter af mørk chokolade. Sort Hvede giver en god mundfylde og har et mørkt, cremet skum.

Draught. Weak, sweet, roasted aroma. Black colour, big stable brown head. Sweet and roasted flavour, some liquorice. Brown sugar sweetness reminding me of hvidtøl. Weak liquorice aftertaste. 5 4 6 3 12

Draught @ Ølfestivlal Horsens 2006. Dark brown color with okay light brown head. Aroma is wheat and some sweet malt. Flavor is burnt malt. Watery palate and soft carbonation.

Draught at Bryggedage Den Gamle By. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Dark brown colour. Heavy malty aroma. Not much hefe. Powerfull smoked flavor. Average finish. Creamy palate. This is an outstanding special weizenbeer, maybee not a bock but very much its own!!!!!!!!
