Bottle, expiry 11 Dec 2014. Red-brown colour, rocky head that does not stay long. Aroma is rather surprising, as it resembles more a Belgian beer than Irish red ale: you have plenty of fruit including banana, plus caramel and a bit of earthy aromas typical to red ales. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Lively carbonation, perhaps it could be a bit lower. A bit unusual, pleasant to drink.
