Walhalla Ostara is een licht bittere, wat bloemige American Pale Ale. Je proeft citrus en andere fruitigheid met een wat droge afdronk.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 13 Aug 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit and lemon peel. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine needles, resin, pineapple, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, dry. Hoppy and refreshing. Nice one.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before January 2026. Slightly hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral and a bit resiny aroma of mango, orange, some grapefruit and a touch of pine. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral and slightly resiny taste of orange jam, grapefruit, mango and some pine, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good Pale Ale, nicely fruity, crisp and bitter.
