Our Brown Ale is the first beer we started making at the brewery in 2001, after making soft drinks since 1997. Fortunately it was such a success that it won an organic gold medal in 2002. After that, there was no holding us back in our beer adventure. Brown Ale is a full-bodied, creamy beer made with American hops. They lend the beer a delightful, yet discreet citrus-fruit aroma alongside caramelised and toasted malt. It tastes sweet and rich with notes of toffee, chocolate, coffee and liquorice with a mellow sweetness and mild, hoppy bitterness.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a cola look and little tan head. Aroma is sweet malty, light acidic note and distinct sweetness. Flavour reminds of a Danish hvidtøl, had a profound sweetness, breadish malt flavour - slight off-note - fruit like which I cannot make out what is. Goes into a light bitterness and mild/minor acidic note in the finisn

(Bottle 33 cl) Brown with a pretty, red glow, very small head and a bit low in carbonation. Lovely nutty notes and touches of roasted malt and caramel. Sweetish with a soft, pleasant body. 181202
