Prag is a pale pils in Czechish spirit. The bready aroma with flowery hop notes and clean malt tone is followed by a flavour where the hops and the bitterness are in good balance with the malt sweetness. Pure, fresh and flavourful. Czechish beer culture with a Swedish profile.

Bottle. Clear golden color with a small off-white head. Weak aroma, some fruity and flowery tones and a little hops. Bitter hoppy pilsener flavor with some malty sweetness.

Bottled
Light copper brown, small white head. Sweet toffeeish nose - not diacetyl - just butterscotch. Toffeeish with some late hoppyness. I wonder what style this is trying to be.

Bottled. Dark golden/copper colour, big white foamy head. Malty aroma, kind of weak though. Flavour is maltish and hoppy with some caramellish hints. Aftertaste is a bit weird mix of hops and malts with something a bit sweeter.

(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden colour with a nice but collapsing head. Nice, marked hop aroma - Saaz I presume - that also leave quite some bitterness. If the intention was a Bohemian Pilsener, then Slottskällans came pretty damn close. 140203

Blond color. Very simple aroma, with a light vanilla touch, a bit floreal. Some cereals in the taste, starts dry, shows some residual sweetness later, becomes very bitter at the end, for a strong final. Raw.

Wow.. First U.S. Rating for this one!! Thanks go out to Omhper for sending this one!!! Good looking Pilsner at the pour, huge white head, well carbonated golden color that is clear and sparkling. Light hop nose, clean light flavor with just a touch of hop bitterness. Needs more. Drinkable, refreshing light Pilsner, but lacks the assertiveness and crispness of the better Bohemian Pilsners.

The aroma is very flowery and hoppy. The color is dark golden and it has a wonderful head. The flavor is sweet malty with an early and full hop presence which in due time gives way for a nice bitterness. A really good version of a Bohemian Pilsener.

(330 ml bottle). A "Swedish profile Bohemian pilsener" - whatever that may be, this is supposed to be it. Typical pils golden colour, moderate head. Above average hoppy aroma, good but not remarkable flavour, well above average bitterness. Not as good as the best Czech pilseners, but far better than the average "neutral" swill.

Very malty and quite sweet. The hoppy bitterness comes late. ...............

Golden coloured with generous head. Grassy, flowery hop aroma. Medium bodied, rather sweet. Bready and clean with above average bitterness. Good, and the current batch ha the oily saaz hop aroma of the better genuinely Czechish pilseners, which were öackinh earlier.
