Fabulous. Holunder leaf weisse! "Best by" May 2018 but of course a good Berliner Weisse lasts generations 😁

From bottle outside De Bierkoning, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Aroma is bready wheat, dough, lemon, and elderberries. Flavour is mildly sour. Body is light with heavy carbonation. Enjoyable Berliner.

Lovely stuff. Soft mouthfeel, soft elderflower flavor. 2018 vintage.

Super tart. Brett. Lemon acid drops. Nuclear warhead sweets. Elderflowers. Lime. Bitter cloudy natural lemonade. Soft malts. Great complex Berliner with a long elderflower finish. A littke doughy. Excellent drinkability. Very tidy.

Bottle, huge thanks Ryan for sharing! Hazy yellow body, white head. Nutty, veggy aroma, some lactic notes, the elderflower went slightly the wrong way here it seems, Brett in evidence. Brett shows up again in the tart taste, with some odd vegetal notes like... potato? The mouthfeel is nice and so is the carbonation, but again after Mamouche an elder-driven wild(ish) beer where elder went sorta the wrong way. Not entirely bad, but hoped for more.
