Clear golden with a firm white head. Aroma is nuts, grain and cereal - much like I’d expect from buckwheat - with a slightly metallic edge. Flavour is sweetish buckwheat and caramel, somewhat watery, but refreshing and drinkable. A gateway beer for soda pop drinkers?

33cl bottle @ Refsvindinge. Pours clear gold with a small white head and no lacings. Nose is sweet of corn. Buck and wheat. Very thin palate. Citric and dry. Not good!

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminshed white head. Woody and dry malt aroma. Flavour is quite sweet, light toffee roasted note joining in and takes the flavours into the light roasted dry malty side. Ends with a smooth sweet flavour, minor bitterness.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, orangey golden, almost no head and a rather flat carbonation - everything typical Refsvindinge. Sweetish, malty rather rustic nose. Contains the typical - but hard to define - Refsvindinge house character. Very soft and lightly sweetish with a weak, underlying tartness. Almost no bitterness. 130805 As "Refsvindinge Mary og Frederik". 6/3/6/3/12=3 190904

Orange beer with greenish shine; thin, yellowish head. Weird nose, as the sap of mussels’ cooking. Brettanomyces, it seems. Weird, oxydised taste, sourish. I’ve eaten buckwheat pancakes as cooked buckwheat, but this is neither. There’s an uninviting whiff of human sweat, going over in cookie malt. Finish is sweeter, liquorice-like. Light bodied, certain burning sensation, bit slick. Ouch. Not my cuppa... wheat?

Bottle. Sweetish aroma. Flavour is quite sweet also with some acidity and a peculiar aftertaste. Low carbonation and full mouthfeel.

The aroma is sweet malty with notes of peaches on a sour background. The color is orange and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor is very sweet with notes of peach. This is not very wheaty - tastes more like a pilsener.
