Draught as a pot size at Irish Murphy’s, Brisbane, on July 19, 2013.Clear brown to dark brown color, tan head. Fruity, hoppy, sweet taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fruity, hoppy, malty scent.

330ml bottle. Brown amber colour, foamy off-white head and aroma of malt, toffee, abit sour. Taste is biscuity malt caramel with a light citrus bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK.

Bardzo dobre miedziane Ale z Australii. Kolor intensywny, piana mocna i zbita, Aromaty karmelowe i sporo nut kwiatowych w zapachu. W smaku chmiel goryczkowy wysuwa się na pierwszeństwo. Zaskoczyło mnie bardzo pozytywnie to bursztynowe piwo

On tap at the Rose & Crown, Guildford WA, April 2012. Deep amber with a decent white head. Sweetish malts, a touch of new world hop character and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

33cl Bottle, brought back from Oz by a family friend who knows I like to try different beers. Best before 11 Oct 2011, silly cow forgot to give it me when she got back, hence me reviewing it in Dec 2011. Poured into a Palm Speciale stemmed tulip glass: Clear, bright, deep amber body with plenty of carbonisation bubbles rising to the weak, thin covering of a head above. The wispy covering soon fell away to a collar and an island or two of small bubbles even though the body seemed to be trying to replenish the head. Caramel and malt molasses in the nose, not too strong but there none the less. The taste is also malty, with a crisp hop bite to balance out the maltier sweetness. A bit too fizzy for me and just slightly watery in its body depth, even at 3.8%ABV. All in all not bad, long way for it to come, but glad I’ve tasted it.

Bottle shared with Harrisoni at Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer. Small white head. Light crisp palate. A little juicy hop. Mild minerally tropical fruit hops. Decent.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter nice flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.
