From a 330ml bottle on 3/8/2010. Has a very nice hoppy, floral, fruity (lychee) aroma. Flavour wise, it’s a little more subdued than the nose would suggest, and is not typical of an amber ale. There is a dash of malt and fruitness, accompanied by a medium hop finish. Still, this is quite flavoursome for a beer that’s only 3.8%.

Pours copper/ruby with a large off-white head, quickly fading to a thin layer.Nose shows juicy hops with pineapple, orange and floral characters along with a fair bit of honey and crystal malt.Very similar flavours, at least as far as the hops go. The malt is no where near as obvious, but still shows some caramel and nutty hints. Finishes somewhat weakly.Body is lacking but carbonation is spot on.

Amber, fading light beige head with grass and citrus aroma which is indeed reminiscent of Little Creatures Pale Ale. Not a lot flavour going on here, though. That’s to be expected at 3.8%, although some English beers (like Timothy Taylor Landlord at 4.1%) pack a lot of flavour in at fairly low alcohol. This is pleasant dustcutter for a hot afternoon.

(Bottle 33 cl) Neat, dark amber with a fine, beige head. High carbonation - way too high - the beer tries to escape the bottle as soon as the cap is removed. Lovely nose full of nuts and aroma hops. Light nutty notes in the flavour also, together with some roasted malt. But the body is thin and watery and completely lacks potency. Most likely an excellent session bear - if you can cope with the carbonation. 150805

An amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is lovely hoppy combined with notes of caramel - it reminds me of an IPA. The flavor is dry and boring compared to the aroma - it contains notes of brewmash, hints of caramel, and a dry hoppyness. It lacks power in the flavor.
