Revelrous started as a blend of imperial stouts aged in Buffalo Trace 7-year, Old Fitzgerald 19-year, Woodford Reserve 5-year, and Bookers 8-year bourbon barrels for 23 months. To this base we infused creamy raw coconut, bright Wild Thai Banana, marshmallowy Comoros vanilla beans, and some incredibly rich Haitian Cacao Nibs, then finished it off with a drizzle of fresh maple flavor from some candy cap mushrooms.
An enticing aroma of rich chocolate, heady bourbon, and maple lead into creamy, coconutty flavors with pops of bright banana through the sip, while big vanilla richness really ties the room together. The finish comes full circle to finish on even more chocolatey goodness and a proper, lingering warmth.

500 ml bottle. Thank you Chalumeaux! Soft banana, chocolate, and very mild maple. The flavor is absolutely insane. Different flavors every sip. Banana, vanilla, coconut. Shows a nice amount of acid and barrel. Very slick, oily mouthfeel. 14% is totally hidden. Wow, a ton going on here.

Bottle pour shared by Chalumeaux--thanks, TJ! Opaque black with nice viscosity, no head/lacing. Aroma is strong banana, bourbon, base stout, vanilla, maple. Taste is strong banana, mild coconut, strong chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, pancakes. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. This is exceptional. 'Nuff said!

Dark, inky, viscous, oily. Some brief tan bubbles.
Chocolate, fudge, intense, not-overdone with banana. Hard to nail down all the bourbon here as there are so many barrels. But it's fantastic and expressive. The candy cap are there too! Maple but not sugary maple. That earthy camphor character with no booze.
Rich, thick, fudgey, sweet, rich, earthy, lots of caramel, bourbon, not syrupy (almost). Various lovely bourbon. Banana apparent but not overdone. Beautiful acidity on the end. Honestly, don't think it needs the banana but that's ok. Lingering rich bourbon and caramel with vanilla and fruity coconut.
