50cl can. Pours golden with actually quite a decent head. The nose has just a little pale malt, with maybe some citrus. The taste is quite watery and doesn’t deliver any of the citrus note. The palate could be worse - it could be offensive, it’s just watery. Overall, no need to say any more, I don’t think.

Half a pint of Fosters in The County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear gold thin white head. Well its cold. It tastes vaguely of cereal. No discernable hop presence. Not horrible like the Stella 4% was just vaguely flavoured water. Pointless.

Can. Skunky barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with large head. Slightly sweet honey and barley malt flavor with light hops finish. No surprises here.

On tap. Clear deep golden with a creamy white head leaving a lovely lacework. Very neutral aroma - some indefinable brewing cereal. Light body, brewing cereal, metal and some sulphur. Very discreetly hopped. The appearance is the best part of this beer. 22010

33cl bottle, Finnish version. Enjoyed with food. Grainy aroma, not much flavor. OK to rinse down food, might be OK on a hot summer day, refreshing.

(Draught at Crown Rivers JDW, Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, 9 Aug 2009) Yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, bready nose with notes of grain and corn. Malty, bready taste with grain, a hint of grass and vegetables. Low bitterness. Thin body, fairly dry. Fizzy mouthfeel. Not much taste. Boring stuff.

50cl Can from Tesco’s at Manchester Airport. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of grain, corn and a bit of alcohol (?). Flavour is very watery, fizzy, just like soda water with a grainy very light bitter finish. Actually almost flavourless. Quite a lot of carbonation. Thin bodied.

Half pint draught at Tolbooth Tavern in Edinburgh watching the rugby match between Scotland and South Africa (10-14, I think). It is not so much to say about this clear golden beer. Perfumed smell followed by the taste of sweet hard water, maybe a few hints of lemon. Rather tasteless [15.11.2008].

Draft, Heathrow terminal 4, Whetherspoon. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Light cornish an bitter aroma. Light grassy and bitter flavoured. A bit bland to be honest. Ends sight watery and vague bitter. Leaving a nice lacing on the glass.
