Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

12oz Bottle pours out a classic IPA topped with a small white head. A good mix of hops and malt. A good IPA

Bottle: Pours a clear, lighter gold with a medium white head. Malt and floral hops in the nose, taste is smooth up front and lots of floral hops in the tail. Some fruitiness, floral, and earth tones. Crisp, lingering hops finish.

Poured kind of gold-copper hybrid alloy with off white head. The aroma seems like a sweet grapefruit or tangelo slushy with liquid malt extract poured on top. The flavor has a nice big up front citrus hop bitterness that springs out of the glass. Beyond the initial bite an upwelling of sweet malts joins the fun. Just before the finish the hop flavor becomes more like sweet citrus hard candy that has been partially sucked on and then dropped onto a freshly mowed lawn.

Bottle...amber color...taste is simply unbalanced
...aroma is faint and just beer-like...nothing special what-so-ever... ..basically a dash here and a dash there...a dash of hop not properly influenced by the malt that should blanket it so gently....and a dash of, oh well wonβt buy again thats all...:)...drink on ....drink on.....just not this

2007. This has finally made it my way, and I feel its a pretty nice beer - an excellent choice for everyday drinking. Starts with a pleasing citric, almost lemony hop nose. Malts are in the background, a touch of cookies and bread. Not a bunch of hop flavors but a good solid whack of bitterness in the finish. Dry.

Bottle Pours a nice clear deep amber, with dense creamy sandy colored head. Lots of heavy lacing. Aroma is mostly rich slightly toasted malts and some citrusy hops. Flavor is deep sweet malts. Slightly woody and full. Hop bittering is not so sharp and crisp like others but rounded, a bit more subtle, balanced and just allaround nice. The lingering bite is more tell tale of the style. Not what I would call a "Hop Head Delight" but quite enjoyable.

I have long liked this brewer so I had been looking forward to trying this one. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a huge creamy white head. The aroma is strongly sweet and sugary with a moderate fruity hop presence. Smells almost like candy. The mouthfeel is normal for this style. The flavor is fairly dry with strong floral hops and moderately strong fruity hops. There is a moderate malt presence and a dry and bitter hoppy finish. Not nearly as good as their regular pale ale.
