Fur Hvede er en overgæret øl af typen Hvede efter tysk inspiration. Den er brygget på fire forskellige malttyper samt to humletyper, der tilsættes ad tre gange. Resultatet er en perlende og ufiltreret øl med farve som rødgyldent rav. Med tæt cremefarvet skum, der har lang holdbarhed og giver fine blonder på glasset.

Fur Hvede har en kraftig, men velafbalanceret duft af frugt og banan. Og en frisk aromatisk og frugtagtig smag med let syrlig afrunding.

Forsidebilledet er et fossil af en zygopt, fundet i moleret på Fur.

Sample@Ølfestival København 2018 (Day 3) - hazy golden pour with a white head. Medium sweet malty and wheaty, caramel, banana, some spices, medium to light body, sweet and crisp finish.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks! Pours slightly hazy amber colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of phenolic esters, old banana. Taste of dry banana, wheat malt, yeast, phenolic esters, mild spicy peppery finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy light amber with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast and banana with subtle notes of hops and malt. Sweetish, malty and fruity flavour with a touch of banana and yeast and a subtle citrus note. Very mild aftertaste. Watery. Drinkable but nothing really special.

Draught@CPH BF 2013 (thanks to anders37 for the sampler!). Hazy goldeny orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, wheat, some banana and mild yeasty notes to it. Flavour is wheat, sweet malts, mild banana as well as some spices and mild yeasty notes. Actually not far from the German Hefeweizens! Welldone!

Draft @ DØE Ølfestival 2013. Pours a hazy golden pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy aroma with hints of banana. Fruity wheat malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy yeasty finish.

50 cl. bottle. Hazy orange colour with a small, white head. Light fruity aroma with banana, yeasts, orange zest, caramel malts and wheat. Medium sweet taste. Medium body, creamy texture. Finishes sweet and fruity. Refreshing but rather average.

Bottle. Pours light hazy dark amber with thin white head. Aroma is sour wet clothes, citrus, sour dough, hints of cloves. Taste is light bitter, medium sour and light sweet. Body is watery to oily with crisp carbonation. Finish is medium long and bitter/sour with notes of dust, chalk, melon with hints of licorice and cloves.

Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse, 2012. Pours unclear orange with a small white head. Bread , wheat, citrus. Good without an overload of esters. Medium bodied.

Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours cloudy deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat and yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
