(33cl bottle, 6.5% abv) Slightly hazy, reddish brown colour with a beautiful, light-beige foamy head. Slightly sweet and roasted dark malty aroma with caramel, spicy phenols and piney hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderately roasted malty taste with notes of caramel, liquorice and subtle fruity accents; dry, slightly roasty, moderately bitter finish with a light resiny hoppy touch. Nice, easy going dark Ale.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 2 June 2007) Dark amber colour with brief off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of orange, grapefruit, caramel and hints of chocolate and toffee. Fruity taste with caramel, orange, grapefruit and hints of pin needles. Tasty hop character nicely balanced with caramel and chocolate. Very enjoyable, with alcohol well hidden. Well made and tasty.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small, a bit creamy layer; robust hoppy nose, mixed with a distinctive touch of toasted malt; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium-bodied; lingering aromatic-bitter finish, balanced by a good amount of dark or toasted malt. A very pleasant, well rounded Ale.... Danke, Jonas!

Bottled. Clear, reddish brown with an off-white head. Malty nose with beef-stock and hops. The flavor is hoppy, with resin and pine, as well as caramel and beef-stock. Medium, sweet mouthfeel. FinAle is a lot of beer, nice and hoppy, but definately not sessionable. (060812)
