First up the Coffee beer:
Straight to Ale Stout at the Devil
Oatmeal stout with coffee 7.8%
Deeply plum brown so that in certain lights it looks black with thin fizzy beige foam. It’s got a nice roasty fruity coffee aroma. The taste is fruity in a fruit loops vein with a touch of sweetness (lactose?) giving it a bit of a milk coffee feel while the finish delivers some bright berry coffee notes. Alright.

Can bought at the WalMart in Birmingham enjoyed in the hotel in Houston. Pours an inky black color with a decent sized tan head that persists. Roasty earthy chocolate light licorice and black malt. Earthy with hints of creamed coffee. Not too bad.

Pint at Commerce Kitchen. Pours black, with a small, fine, beige head. The aroma is coffee, cinnamon, butterscotch, and walnut. Sweet and malty, with a good bitterness. Medium body, chalky, and clean. Easy, quality stout.

Lots of roasted malt and lactose notes with vanilla. Semi sweet but roasted malts balance things. Heavy but nice

Can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, light lactose, coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet, liqouirce bitter, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasty, light chocolate, liqouirce bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
