30/5/2025. Cask at the 38th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Fruity husky citric piney straw. Fruit cordial taste. Quite drinkable.

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear golden colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, light yeasty, some tropical citrus notes. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, light fruity, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the West End Brewery, Leicester. Pale yellow and clear with a small white head. Gentle grapefruit-led aroma with lemon peel and a touch of biscuity malt. Bittersweet taste with just a touch of sulphur. The finish is far more bitter, leading to an uncompromising bitterness in the aftertaste. A basic but enjoyable pale ale.

Cask at the Green Duck brewery, Stourbridge. Pours hazy dark gold with a small head. Aroma is sherbet lemon and a little passionfruit. Taste has stony straw to start and a bitter finish. A little passionfruit.
