Hazy golden and copper coloured body with a thick, five centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, hay, wheat, light yeast and a touch of english hops - not much at all though. Medium-bodied; A decent hoppy flavour at first with a good malt backbone and a lot of effervescence coupled with some light sweetness and a touch of grass. Aftertaste shows a nice balance with wheat and light malt noticeable and some light grass and a touch of sweetness. Overall, a decent beer that shows relatively well with a good balance, but not much of a hop kick at all, but that’s almost expected! I sampled this 50 cL bottle (Rating #2 ever for this beer, so I feel honoured) purchased from Tops - Cape Quarter (Green Point) in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa on 14-August-2015 for ZAR29,99 sampled at home on the opposite end of this world in Washington on 23-April-2016 with an empty ’Best By’ date on the back of the bottle. Just about worth it for the space and the pain in my bag to bring home across the whole of Africa and the Atlantic.
