Our first foray into double dry hopping was back in 2013 with DDH Fort Point & DDH Congress, and since then, we’ve refined our approach and applied the technique to many of our beers. This method amplifies hop aromas and flavors, delivering an extra bold, hoppy punch.
Originally released in December, Express Way features New Zealand grown Peacharine hops, this time, it’s getting the DDH treatment, bringing even more hop intensity.

16oz can is pulp, lemony yellow, white head. Nose has oats and perfume, lemon blossom, tangerine and big melon. Flavor is very sweet, distracting sweetness, melon sherbet and heavy vanilla. Feels overdone. Full bodied.

Pours murky gold into a nonic. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Papaya and guava aromas. Soft with sweet white grape, peach and lychee front to back and into the the slightly tart, underripe peach and tangerine finish.

Canton draught, 3/25/25.
Hazy lemon-maize. Small, white head.
Stone fruit, mineral, earth and light floral accents with a backing of light honey and big cracker from malt. Clean enough and no resin or chalk in the nose.
Juicy and earthy with lemongrass, parsley, lemon and very mild stone fruit. Light, crackery-wheaty texture. Bit of table sugar/white bread character I've been getting in their NE IPAs lately, that I don't care for. It's rather raw and, well, sugary. Still can't figure out the hype behind this hop either. This and Nectaron have been very disappointing.
