Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours dark mahogany with a huge frothy beige head. Aroma of roasty ambery malt with some hops that seem floral. Med body. Fairly dry. Moderately bitter. Malt like the aroma. Hop is more than floral but nothing like citrus or pine. Ambery stuff is not my favorite, but this is decent.

clear brownish ruby colour, huge creamy and long lasting beige-ish head; aroma of msrmalade, piney and burnt sugary notes; bittersweet taste with marmalade, burnt sugary and even some plum jam notes; ok, it is definitely not an IPA - but at least really enjoyable

Bottle from Uwajimaya. Pours a clear reddish color with a medium white head. A big caramel nose. Toast, more caramel, cola, light oranges. This isn't a IPA, this is a slightly hoppy amber ale. Not bad.

Deep dark amber and Ruby tinted coloured body with a tan head that starts at about two centimetres tall and fades quickly to just a thin layer on top. Aroma of light grassy and herbal hop notes with a hay and floral bite, showing some subdued alcohol and yeast qualities with a dash of grain and resin on the end. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Strong biting malt and grainy characteristic with a dash of pepper and rye noticeable, all with a light herbal and slightly floral hop character that has a little bit of bitterness, but finishes easily. Aftertaste shows some more promise with a robust rye and malted barley bite with some nuttiness and a dry earthy hop flavour that shows English hops at play here and maybe some Simcoe or Tomahawk notes. Overall, a decent beer at best, and it will probably make me stay away from the rest of the 'Lucky' series that I saw at the store. I sampled this 350 mL can purchased from the small Liqour Store here in Daimon, Tokyo, Japan yesterday on 03-August-2019 for 290JPY, sampled a day later in my hotel room here in Tokyo, Japan on 04-August-2019.

Can from Yamaya. Piny hops, caramel, some chocolate, bready malts. The flavor is resin and piny hops, caramel, roasty, toasty malt. Light, a bit thin. Decent tasting. A bit retro and more like an American Amber.
