Can at Sin. Clear amber copper chestnut. Malty, caramel. Surprisingly full, fizzy, a tad front heavy. Creamy malt, roasted, metallic, tiny bit oxidised. I definitely had worse.

Odd pint, a stab at a classic American hoppy red but kinda crashes into the mountain. Hints of caramel are offset by a musty wet malt funkiness, and the hops end up skewing more piney-metallic than piney-citric. Thin feel doesn't help.

Can, from the Mitsuwa Marketplace, Edgewater NJ. Pours clear copper red with a large foamy beige head, caramel aroma with faint citrus, adequate carbonation, bitter caramel taste with piney flavor, thin body, long bitterish caramel finish. Decent ale.

(Can) Pours clear red brown with transient pale beige head. Pleasant aroma of toffee with notes of dried fruit. Light body with bright carbonation. Interesting taste. There’s toffee and somewhat overcooked toast. There’s yeasty and peppery notes. I get sherry or port hints at the start. The mid palate is a bit thin. Unusual and surprisingly drinkable (I wasn’t expecting much based on the name).

350ml can from H-Market, a Korean store near Irvine. Drank in Laguna Hills on 27th June 2024. Red hue to the clear amber body, beige wispy head. Semi-sweet malts with a caramel flavour, all a bit 'thin' and uninteresting, didn't take to it at all.

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours dark mahogany with a huge frothy beige head. Aroma of roasty ambery malt with some hops that seem floral. Med body. Fairly dry. Moderately bitter. Malt like the aroma. Hop is more than floral but nothing like citrus or pine. Ambery stuff is not my favorite, but this is decent.
