Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Near black colour, small brown head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, nuts, some liquorice as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is lactose, chocolate, nuts, liquorice, some coffee and mild toast.

Dark brown colour, small brownish head. Strong chocolate aroma, a bit artifical. Medium-bodied. Sweet, chocolaty, low carbo. Quite good although one-dimensional and weak from body. Probably stronger version is better.

Dark brown with a beige head. Milk chocolate aroma. A bit of toast. Taste is sweet, full of milk chocolate. Licorice. Light plum at end. Medium bodied. More depth would lift the rating.

Tap at Øl by Oslo Brewing. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a round bubbly light tan head. The aroma is light roasty, big strawberry cheesecake lactose. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily,, blueberry light tart citrus palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.

Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate and cocoa with a hint of coconut. Sweet milk chocolate flavour with hints of roasted malt and licorice.

Mørk, mørk brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter oboy, havre og kakaopulver. Middels fylde. Søt. Smaker engelsk lakris, kakao og karamellfudge. lett bitterhet. Må bare få testet ut versjonen med mer alkohol. (Oslo Ølfestival 2018)

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Black colour, large tan head. Some sediment in the bottle. Sweetish aroma of roast malts, very distinct vanilla, milk chocolate and lactose, a hint of liquorice. Soft mouthfeel. Distinct but not overdone sweetness, milk chocolate, vanilla, hints of dark fruits and liquorice. Moderate hops. Enjoyable.

Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal okt-18: klar mørk mahogny med storboblet skum. (Melke)sjokolader og vaniljestang, muligens litt knekk og snev av lakris hvis jeg legger godviljen til (og det gjør jeg jo vanligvis), men denne ble såpass søt og endimensjonal at jeg var fornøyd med et lite glass.
