Unbeknown to us, our supplier mislabelled a sack of malt making this batch of Gweilo Pilsner more of an amber colour. After shouting “Aiyaaa!”, we tasted it and realised it’s an absolutely banging beer. We figured, let’s celebrate the mix up, it’s often the way great things happen.

Can from HK Brewcraft, Hong Kong. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, light cardboard, light citrus, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, fresh, light yeasty, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can shared. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, grain and citrus. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light to moderate carbonation.
