We've brewed our sour beer with a German hop variety called Huell Melon, which gives the beer its fresh melony notes, and after fermentation we've added some cucumber extract to give the beer a fresh, summer garden aroma.

Can from Sainsbury's, drunk at home. Light golden and ultra-clear with lots of visible carbonation and a ring of white head. Smells very strongly of cucumber and watermelon rind with some grassy notes. A bit dirty in the taste at first but it grows on me when the light sour comes in. Light body, heavily carbonated in the finish. Cucumber in the aftertaste. Nicely done.

On tap at the Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol 10 May 2018. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Some ripe cucumber notes, light malts, floral hops, leading to a tart finish. Fine.

Can at Peasenhall. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Decent fresh cucumber, very mild sourness, just a light tang really. Whisper of lemon. Light finish. Light and drinkable. Cucumber linger. Fresh and fairly drinkable.
