Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. Dark red blueberry juice appearance with little pink head. Nose is metallic, dull muted fruit, little sweetness & not that fruity either. Taste is overtly metallic with dull low grenadine fruit profile, mildly sweet & metallic but not overly fruity. Dull metallic body, empty. Meh.

19/VIII/17 - 33cl bottle @ Gents Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2017-1269) Thanks to the Belgian ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers and celebrating my 10K!
Clear deep reddish brown beer, big irregular creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty roasted, caramel, funky, bit sweet, fruity touch, some chocolate, slightly smoked. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty roasted, lots of chocolate, sweet, caramel, some banana, lovely stuff. Aftertaste: little bitter, roasted, sweet, more chocolate, bit sugary, some vanilla. Smoke could've been used more ubiquitous, if they advertise it like this.

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish chestnut colour with average, thick, fluffy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige head, some tiny flakes floating around. Peaty, smoky aroma, hints of smoked eel, birch ashes, a touch of TCP, sticking-plaster, subtle hints of chocolate. Taste is peaty, smoky, woody, minimally chocolately, widely disguised, bitter hints of coffee; sweet-ish malty and minimally alcoholic finish with peaty overtones. Slightly unbalanced, a tad too much peaty.

Dark brown and clear with fluffy head. Aroma has a fair amount of smoked malt. The coffee comes through more in the flavour although the smokiness is somewhat more dominant overall. Full bodied and very malty.

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Hazy dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, caramel. The smoke was not as intense as I expected, which is a plus for me. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kaffe Og Røg on 10 Feb 2017 at 23:10 - Score: 8
