Bottle. Color: Ruby, stable very llight brown head. Aroma: Smoked malt, hints of coffee. Taste: Smoked malt, medium sweet, caramel, rye, subtle notes of coffee. Light hints of dark red fruit. Soft carbonation, medium to over medium body. Smooth. No BBQ or smoked meat taste at this beer, like some other smoked beers, just that sweetish smoked malt. Nice, pretty easy drinkable smoked beer.

At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter!
Cloudy dark brown with a lasting, big, off-white head that leaves lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruits, coffee, hops & malt, barley, a bit of smoke. It tastes medium malty sweet, light roasted bitter and light fruity sour. Dry, slightly alcoholic finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Agreeable.

At Gents Bierfestival 2017 . Pours clear, dark copper. Small white head. Smell is mild smokey, as well as the obvious coffee and rye. Taste is coffee, smoked, with a rye back. too smoked for me, but overall, not a bad beer.

Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. Dark red blueberry juice appearance with little pink head. Nose is metallic, dull muted fruit, little sweetness & not that fruity either. Taste is overtly metallic with dull low grenadine fruit profile, mildly sweet & metallic but not overly fruity. Dull metallic body, empty. Meh.
