A light lager with a higher fullness and golden colour, which stands out with a distinct delicious bitterness. Each batch is hopped four times according to the First Republic recipe at precisely defined times and quantities, which allows the beer to retain a pleasant aroma of freshly hopped hops.

Bottle picked up from Globus Ceské Budêjovice and consumed at home Saturday 27th June 2026. We have Sophia and her family around tonight so we have made Spicy Meatballs with Harissa Parsley etc. then Greek style Chicken Kebabs, then Halloumi, Chorizo and Red Pepper Kebabs plus a Greek Salad. Greek style Roasted Potatoes, with a Lemon Curd Ice Cream, Vanilla Ice Cream and finally a Rhubarb Crumble Ice Cream. I'm listening to the Waterboys - Fisherman's Blues. Anyway finally onto this beer, it pours dark gold/light amber with a huge foamy white head. Quite bitter from the start, good mouthfeel it's actually not bad at all, okay it's not amazing but I would happily drink it again. Score: 6.0

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Can looks simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Some grasy hints, fine spicy. Light soapy touch. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

Tap @Wild Beef in Warsaw-Poland. Am Berisha clear pour with a tick off-white foamy cap. Nose: malty with very predominant Danish butter cookie feel. Mouth is malty caramels with a silk and strong peppery bitter character. Nice.
