Bottle. I have to admit, this was much better then I thought it would be. Gold in color with a nice head. Very tasty and thirst quenching.

Can from the lcbo. Hazy yellow pour, large white head. Nice malted wheat Aroma, subtle pine hops, hints of citrus. Full mouth feel, soft carb. Decent malty finish, subtle sweetness, with more pine. Better than I expected.

500ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear light golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, sweet banana. The flavour is moderate sweet with a grainy, yeast, mineral, banana, light floral spicy hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can, Legacy. Dullish blonde, with some haze. Medium head started quite thick but died quickly. On the nose, it's wheaty and yeasty. There's a light banana ester overtop of some plasticy phenol. Pale malts are a bit thick, gluey. On the palate, there's also a touch of sourness in the finish. This sort of washes away both the banana and the plastic. Yet ultimately it's pretty sweet. Overall, I would say that this is ok. It has some classic hefeweizen elements, but they are muted. You'd never confuse this for a classic of that style, yet it's clearly drawing that inspiration, much more than a typical wheat ale that might eschew that influence. Ends up drinkable, but more reminding me that there's still a couple of good Bavarian hefeweizens on the shelf if I really want to drink this style.

500ml can. Pours a cloudy gold-yellow with yeast particles floating around and a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Aroma of grainy wheat malt, lemon, musty yeast, earthy spice and faint banana. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, lemon, orange, banana, clove, white pepper and yeast with a dry, floral hop finish. Light body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing.

Can: Poured a clear blonde color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet wheat malt with coriander is quite refreshing. Taste is a nice mix of sweet wheat malt with some coriander, subtle cloves with light bubble-gum finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very refreshing and enjoyable but maybe a tad too sweet.
