Dieser Smoked Porter liefert reiche, röstige Malzaromen mit Schichten von dunkler Schokolade, Karamell und Espresso, ergänzt durch einen subtilen, aber ausgeprägten rauchigen Charakter. Mit mittlerem Körper und einem weichen, samtigen Mundgefühl bietet es ein schönes Gleichgewicht zwischen Süße und Bitterkeit. Die rauchige Tiefe verweilt im Abgang und macht es zu einem kühnen und doch zugänglichen Bier.

Drak brown/black pour with a somewhat stable tan head. Aromas of cream/milk, smoked ham, malt/grain, coffee. Taste is milk/cream, malt, some cocoa - quite a smokey aftertaste. Not bad.

33cl can via Beer52, shared with Bob on 11th June 2025 at my place. Black bodied, beige crust on each pour. Ash tray with smoked ham and coffee dregs and that's just the aroma. Never smoked in my life and I struggle with Smokey beers (been to Bamberg a few times to try and cure myself, but failed each time). Scored objectively.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy, almost black pour with a fast fading beige head; smoked aroma with a hint of bacon; milky chocolate body with strong coffee taste to start then some smoke and bacon come through; before a fruity coffee finish.

Solid 7, very dark ruby brown, tan head
A - Dark chocolate, roasted malts with a light smokey hint
F - similar to the aroma, fairly light and a bit sweet on the aftertaste
the smokeyness isnt overpowering which is good

Can from Beer52. Pours dark brown with tanned foamed head. Aroma has a rich malt, black pepper with some smoked wood and light hint of meat. Taste isn't as rich as expected - there are moderate roast, smoke, coffee and light chocolate hints with a decent bittersweet balance. Slick medium body. Good.

Can, Bevog brewery. Black, larger beige head, lasting. Milder nose, roasted, some chocolate and hints of smoke, just enough. Mildly sweet start, mild bitterness, hint of roastiness in the finish. Mild aftertaste. Medium body, creamy. Very lovely.

Blickdichte schwarze Farbe mit beiger Schaumkrone. Malziger, röstmalziger, rauchiger Geruch mit Schokolade und Karamell. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig mit rauchiger Note, dazu Karamell, Kaffee und Schokolade. Hohe Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
