Not digging this whole Hi-Pitch line of IPAs; they seem out of whack, unbalanced, and Hi-Pitch Mosaic is no different. Quick hit of grapefruit, mango, and mandarin, then a hefty bit of thick, caramel-tinged malt laced with wort funkiness, and a clingy, almost medicinal bitterness on the finish. Not bad, just clunky.

Can, tried in July 2021. Unclear amber-golden color with white head. Aroma is exotic fruits, a toasted malts, gummibears, a bit on the sweet side. Taste is the same, quite a bit sweet, but nice hops. Oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Nice enough! 7-3-7-3-14

Decently fresh can, tried in December 2022. More bitter and piney than I remember it, pretty good punch actually. Nice! 7-4-8-4-15

Can Slightly hazy dark yellow with a white head. The aroma is resiny with tropical fruit and citrus. Well balanced between the hop bitterness and the malt sweetness.

Can from Midtown. Pours a deep gold with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Lots of citrus in the nose, lime, honeydew melon and gooseberry notes. Crisp and clean on the palate with some light, crackery honey malt, grass, orange lemon notes. Finishes with more citrus, pith and light pine. Balanced and easy drinking.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at BDTH. Pours crystal clear gold with a frothy, white head. Basic IPA, some lightly faded piney hops, dried citrus peel, crispy pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Inklings of piney resin in the finish, orange rind, more dry pale bread, relaxed bitterness. It drinks alright but it is simplistic.

Bottle at the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a hazy orange amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, weedy, light grassy, light citrus, dry woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malt, light juicy orange citrus, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Bottle bought at BrewDog Tower Hill. Firm white head over a misty, golden-brown body, crocheted lacing. Tropical fruity nose, mid-dry. Canned fruity flavours with a mango touch to it. Herbal hop bitterness to the finish. Well bodied. Tasty. (Shared with Finn on the train from Paddington to Swansea 30.09.2018).
